Dr Caroline Chapman

EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEMBER

Caroline is a Research Development Advisor in the Office of Research, UWA where she brings together her passion for research and her interest in supporting researchers to develop not only their careers but also to create real world impact with their ideas.

Caroline started her 15 year medical research career with a PhD in Molecular Oncology at the University of Glasgow followed by several international postdoctoral roles leading her to research the genetics of cardiovascular disease at the Heart Research Institute and PathWest in WA.

After completing a Masters of Business Administration at Curtin University, she worked for 3 years at Edith Cowan University also as a Research Development Advisor. Caroline is keen to promote interdisciplinary research as this nexus of often two unrelated areas is where innovation is found.
