Antarctica: Defence and human performance in an extreme environment

The Navy Clearance Diver Trust (NCDT) along with the UWA Defence and Security Institute, JFD, Blue Oceans Maritime Tech Systems and L3Harris are pleased to invite you to a public breakfast event focussed on defence and human performance in an extreme environment.

This public event will take place in the theatre-auditorium located at The University Club of Western Australia. Please register as places are limited. A Static Display by AUSCDT4 will be open to participants during the networking reception prior to the event.

There will be an opportunity prior to seating for attendees to view a Static Display of NCDT equipment provided by Royal Australian Navy Australian Clearance Diving Team Four (AUSCDT4).

This event will feature a keynote address by Claire Young, an independent researcher on Antarctic security with 40 years’ experience in defence and strategic analysis. This will be followed by a discussion and and Q&A with 3 serving ADF members who are preparing to walk across Antarctica.
