Associate Professor Sarah Percy | Book Launch & Panel Discussion

The UWA Defence and Security Institute in collaboration with the Australian Institute of International Affairs-WA and support from Army’s 13th Brigade are proud to host the Western Australian launch of Professor Sarah Percy’s new book Forgotten Warriors: Women on the Front Line. Tracing the long history of female fighters, Sarah Percy explores the history of women in combat and argues why it is important for their heroic and compelling stories to be heard.

Please join us for Sarah’s book launch where she will unpack some of her thinking behind the book. There will also be a broader discussion on contemporary issues of women in combat with a female representative from Army’s 13th Brigade, moderated by UWA DSI Visiting Fellow Natalie Sambhi.

Copies of Sarah’s book will be available for sale on the evening. Light refreshments will be provided following the discussion.
