Reflecting on 60 Years of Australia-Republic of Korea Diplomatic Relations
The Korea Research Centre of WA and the UWA Defence and Security Institute are delighted to invite you to join us online for a public event to celebrate and reflect on the 60th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between Republic of Korea and Australia.
This event aims to enhance public understanding of the importance of ROK-Australia relations in the Indo-Pacific region, and to provoke dialogue around the history and future possibilities of this important relationship. The aim of the event is to explore clear priority collaboration agendas, develop and propose areas for further research and investigation, and provide recommendations for developing and enhancing the ROK-Australia bilateral relationship.
The public event is followed by an invitation-only roundtable, which will assess the implications of emerging security and defence collaborations for the future of the Australia-ROK relationship.
