In June, we launched issue 9 of the Black Swan Strategy Papers authored by Jennifer Jackett on Defence Innovation and the National Interest.

While the Australian Government is taking steps in the right direction with the Advanced Strategic capabilities Accelerator (ASCA), it is only a partial solution to the challenges facing defence innovation. Jennifer Jackett argues that existing institutional structures & culture shaping defence innovation urgently require disruption and reform.
